Early Easter Basket

A few days ago, Great Grandma and Grandpa sent M a fabulous Easter book. We got the mail after M was asleep so we decided to stash it away so that there would be a gift from her great-grandparents in her Easter basket. 

Today, Aunt Diane and Bobby's Easter gift came when M went to get the mail and we HAD to open it. Much to M's delight, the package contained a turtle ("Turtle! Zoom zoom!" said M). 

And also a dog house with five puppies. She was excited. 

 

All of the dogs got kisses, and after we put the camera away she put them to bed. She laid them down, covered them with a blanket, and M even gave one of the puppies a pacifier. Then "shhh" she said to me and Daddy. 

 

I suggested that the dogs needed bottles, and M responded by getting her bottle and saying "night night." I guess all will wake up in the morning well-rested and ready to play.
