Grandma and Grandpa Schmieder and Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa are here visiting this weekend. Since Great-Grandpa turned 80 last week, we had cake and ice cream to celebrate. M, like all little kids, LOVES ice cream.

Fire Trucks!

M is really into fire trucks right now. A few weeks ago, we went to the fire station and looked at trucks. And we have about five firefighter books from the library. Today, we added to this fascination by visiting the Denver Firefighters Museum. There were a lot of people there are it was a bit overwhelming for M. But we have fun just the same.

M did not want to wear the hat so Mommy did.

A Year Ago

All of our photo folders on the computer are labeled by date. Tonight, I clicked on May 17, but did not notice that it was 2011 until much to my surprised this photo appeared. How she has changed in a year!

We took these over the weekend. M wanted to wear her new hat from Aunts Joc and Jenn. She wore it all afternoon, even though sometimes it prevented her from seeing clearly :)

Happy Mother's Day!

M.e. got a present in the mail from Aunt Val and Uncle Joe yesterday, and of course the best part was the bubble wrap! She loved the frame too--it is beautiful but did not make it in this video. Enjoy!

Baptized!

Break for the Weekend

M is being baptized this weekend guests have already started to arrive. We saw Uncle Boonie today, and Grandma and Grandpa Hereau, Grandma Schmieder, Aunts Joc and Jenn, and baby Patrick arrive tomorrow. We know the weekend will be busy and we will try out best to post photos on Saturday after the ceremony and party. No promises though...
