M loves chips and guac! She was gracious enough to share with Mommy and Daddy, but ended up polishing off the bowl herself.

Kitchen Potty

M likes to sit on things and call them her "potty." She was doing that today in the kitchen, teasing that the bowl was her new potty. Good thing she has a spotty track record of peeing in the potty and would not actually go in the kitchen!

Weekend in the Mountains

We went to the mountains this weekend, but not to ski. It was set to be 80 degrees in Denver and warm in the mountains with lots of melting snow. We drove up on Friday and visited with Aunt Molly, Uncle Robb, Nick and  Katie, and on Saturday we went for a hike. Can't you see M is excited? 

It was fantastic, but we overdressed. Even at a higher elevation it was warm! We stopped and had snacks at one point and took off our coats and hats. 

 

Back at the house in Granby it was 70 degrees and M played in the backyard all afternoon. We went to the playground this morning, then back to Denver for ice cream and a trip to the park. M is in bed now, exhausted from the weekend fun.

Camera

We have to get better at our daily use of the camera, because once again we did not take photos today. Instead, after work we went jogging (it was still in the 70's) and then walked to Whole Foods.

M has had a lot of time to play at the park with her friends Ainsley and Avery, and we all are hoping spring is here to stay. M has enjoyed the playground and is becoming more adventurous. She likes to climb and play in the dirt, and spends lots of time picking up dirt, grass, rocks and the like and moving them to another part of the play area.

This weekend we will be spending as much time as we can outside, but plans are TBD. We know that nice weather is to be had across the country, so we hope all are enjoying the warmth as much as we are!
